Genelec 8380AP SAM Main Monitor - Black

Enhance Your Main Monitoring
Joining Genelec's flagship 8381A in The Main Ones Monitor Series, the adaptive three-way 8380A SAM Main Monitor is here to ensure every detail of audio can be perceived truthfully in any medium or large sized studio or listening room.

Like the 8381A, the 8380A advances the main monitoring experience with its unique blend of coaxial technology, meticulous acoustical design and intelligent room adaption, offering you easier access to maximal accuracy across the full audible spectrum.

Sense Every Detail of Audio
Dive deep into the texture of your sound in high resolution – and flexibly decide your listening position – with time-aligned, level-calibrated playback over a wide sweet spot, and a full-body, enveloping sonic experience driven by the monitor's large 15-inch woofer.

Mix with absolute confidence, taking advantage of pristine, stable imaging, phase coherence and exceptional dynamics – all without listening fatigue. Whether mounted vertically or horizontally, you get consistent, uncoloured clarity you can rely on to help you make the right choices, even at the minimum recommended listening distance of 1.3 metres (4.25 ft). And with self-generated noise completely silent at the listening position, every nuance of audio is unmasked.

Easily Create Your Ideal System
Excellent directivity and phase matching with Genelec's entire Smart Active Monitoring (SAM) range – and compatibility with the wider UNIO Ecosystem – is assured. This allows you to flexibly build and scale-up your monitoring system to suit any professional audio application, from stereo to immersive, with the benefit of intelligent room adaption and flexible personalisation.

The dimensions of the 8380A and its updated, silently cooled RAM-L2 amplifier are identical to those of the 1038A, 1038B and 1238A monitors and RAM-L amplifier, making direct upgrade easy, including in flush-mounted applications where the amplifier is mounted remotely.

As with all Genelec monitors, the 8380A is manufactured to the highest sustainability standards at their factory in Iisalmi, Finland – with maximal repairability and a decades-long lifespan built in.
